Built-in skills
The 13 first-party skills the platform ships. They are seeded into every organisation's shared ring, where they are ordinary skills: attach them to an agent, pin a version, read their files, or publish your own version.
| Group | Skills |
|---|---|
| Documents & calendar files | pdf-report, ics-scheduler |
| Data & charts | csv-cleaner, data-profiler, basic-chart-builder |
| Research method | web-summarize, research-method, source-triage, contradictions, report-writing |
| Research playbooks | playbook-market-sizing, playbook-literature-review, playbook-vendor-comparison |
Two kinds of skill
- Scripts โ
pdf-report,ics-scheduler,csv-cleaner,data-profiler,basic-chart-builderโ carry a tested program that runs in the sandbox throughrun_skill_script. They exist because a model cannot produce a PDF's bytes or count a column's nulls reliably; the script can. - Procedures โ the research skills and playbooks โ are instructions only. The agent reads them with
load_skilland does the work with its own tools. A procedure lists the tools it needs inallowed_tools; that is what it needs, not something it grants.
Getting them
The pack is seeded on sign-in, and Install built-in skills under Catalog โ Skills seeds it on demand.
Attach a skill in the agent's skills: list; the agent then sees the skill's name and description and loads
the rest only when it decides to use it. A built-in the organisation has edited is never overwritten.
